Romney would reinforce laws against Bigamy

I would differentiate between plural marriage (polygamy) and bigamy; they are two different things. A polygamist accepts full responsibility for his entire household, while a bigamist seeks to avoid responsibility. It's fairly cut and dry in my mind.

"In Austin, Romney, seeking to become the first Mormon president, reiterated his support for defining marriage in the constitution as between a man and a woman. He said that would reinforce laws against bigamy. Asked if the amendment should make it clear a person cannot have several spouses, Romney said: "I'd be happy to do that."
