Simpe Living by God's Design
Why do people uphold one idea of the bible and take it to extremes, while disregarding other parts of His Law-Word, much like the Pharisees in Jesus' time did with their ritual washing of hands, pots and pans ? Why do people need to fight so hard against His will in so may ways, for example concerning the Dietary laws, or against the prohibition against mixed thread clothing ? And why in the world they would want to remain Christians if they dislike the God of the bible so much that they not only have to argue away His Law as best as they can, but in addition do what God explicitly said was abominable to Him ? And this, it seems, is true for modern Christians and Jews alike.
Churchianity has created God in its own image, each denomination has its own god it serves. Some of these gods seem to like female teachers, others are obviously fine with lesbian preachers and gay bishops, most everybody's god has apparently no problem with a nice juicy pork sandwich, but all of these gods condemn polygamy, of course, everybody knows that that's an abomination, even if the God of the bible has very different ideas about all these things.
Oh well.
A simple life by God's design is very different from what people are living these days. If you, dear Christian lady who is still in college, are fed up with all the hypocrisy just like we are, if you long to live in a family that doesn't hop, skip and jump around when it comes to God's Law-Word, if you long to live a life removed from wicked society, close to God's creation, home school your many children and be as self sufficient as possible, you might want to contemplate joining us at Joshuah's House as soon as possible.
