A Good Wife's Qualities

A good wife in a plural marriage family is gentle and modest, patient, loving and quiet in spirit (Gal 5:22), and she trusts her husband without fear (1Pe 3:6). In the daily routine of living for Kingdom Building, she has her husband's and her family's well-being on her mind. She works joyfully and diligently, runs the home affairs intelligently and responsibly, thus being a good and trustworthy steward to the polygamous family's health and possessions (Pro 31:10-31). A good wife supports her husband in his responsibility for the family as his co-pilot, his help meet (Gen 2:18).
