Lethal Virus Hits U.S. Great Lakes Species, Threatens Fishing
May 18 (Bloomberg)

"A virus in the Great Lakes region of the U.S. threatens 19 species of fish, including muskellunge, walleye and small-mouthed bass, and may harm New York state's $2 billion-a-year sports-fishing economy.
An infection called viral hemorrhagic septicemia, which causes anemia and severe bleeding, has led to the death of hundreds of thousands of fish in the state this year, according to a statement released today by Cornell University scientists in Ithaca, New York. The virus doesn't hurt humans and isn't associated with salmon or trout."

Hmmm - the important news seems to be the trouble for the sports-fishing economy, as well as that the virus is nor harmful to human beings and doesn't effect two kinds of fish people often eat.
As much as we like to go fishing, the idea of stewardship is what should be most important, and not the sports-fishing economy. Oh well...
And remember: Two thirds of all fish will die in the process described in the end times prophecy, just like two thirds of everything else (and not only 50%, as a comment to this blog recently stated). Read the signs of the times, and prepare for what you are commanded to do when you see the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place.
